The Chautauqua Literary and Scientific Circle (CLSC) began reading together in 1878.

Each summer, the CLSC chooses at least nine books of literary quality and invites the authors to Chautauqua to present their work to an audience of approximately 1,000 readers.

Aphasia-Friendly CLSC Circle (book club)
If you love to read but struggle with aphasia, join us!

Shawndra & Steve are starting this book club to
1) read books from the CLSC book list,

2) talk about the books we read,

3) offer a safe, friendly and encouraging place for those struggling with aphasia to talk about the books we read.

You do NOT have to have aphasia to join the Circle.
